Stomach Cramps

Bilwadi Lehyam is very good medicine for treatment of Diarrhoea, dysentery, Amoebiasis and other stomach and digestion problems.

The Reference Shloka —

बिल्वार्धाढकमंभसोर्धं कलशे पक्त्वा पदस्थे रसे |
सिद्धं जीर्ण गुडस्य षोडशपलं चूर्णीकृतैस्सर्वतः ||
कर्षांशैर्घन धान्यजीरकत्रुटीत्वक्केसरत्र्यूषणैः |  
लीढं च्छर्दिरोचकाग्निसदन श्वासप्रसेकापहा ||

bilvārdhāḍhakamaṁbhasordhaṁ kalaśe paktvā padasthe rase |
siddhaṁ jīrṇa guḍasya ṣoḍaśapalaṁ cūrṇīkr̥taissarvataḥ ||
karṣāṁśairghana dhānyajīrakatruṭītvakkesaratryūṣaṇaiḥ |
līḍhaṁ cchardirocakāgnisadana śvāsaprasekāpahā ||

  1. Bilwa mula — Aaegle marmelos
  2. Guda — Jaggery
  3. Ghana (Musta) — Cyperus rotundus
  4. Dhanyaka — Coriandrum Sativum
  5. Jeeraka — Cuminum cyminum
  6. Truti (Ela) — elettaria cardamomum
  7. Twak — cinnamomum verum
  8. Kesara — mesua ferrea
  9. Trayushana (Trikatu) — Sunthi (zingiber officinale) + pippali (piper longum) + maricha (Piper nigrum)
  10. Guda — Jaggery

Indications of Bilwadi Lehya —

  1. Chardi — Vomiting
  2. Aruchi — Lack of appetite
  3. Mandagni — Digestive impairment
  4. Swasa — Asthma
  5. Praseka — Excessive salivation
