Gandharvahasthadi Kashayam is an Ayurvedic medicines used in treating digestion diseases such as anorexia and bloating. It is in herbal decoction form.

Ingredients —
- Gandharvahasta — Ricinus communis
- Chirabilva — Holoptelea integrifolia
- Chitraka — Plumbago zeylanica
- Vishwa — Zingiber officinale
- Pathya — Terminalia chebula
- Punarnava — Boerhaavia diffusa
- Yavasa — Alhagi pseudalhagi
- Bhumiamla — Phyllanthus niruri
Indications —
- Bloating
- Has cleansing effect over intestines.
- Loss of appetite — Aruchi
- Indigestion
- Flatulence
- Pain abdomen
- Constipation
- Nitya Virechana
Dosage —
10 to 15 ml one or two times daily administered before food or empty stomach.
Anupana —
Water. It’s advised along with rock salt or jaggery.
Side effects —
- Higher dose cause gastric irritation.
- In patient of diarrhea ,it worsen the disease.
