Kankayan Vati

Kankayan Vati is a best alternative medicine for non-bleeding piles. It reduces the size of the haemorrhoidal mass and relieves constipation. It also improves liver functions and increases the flow of bile, which helps to relieve constipation too. In addition, it is also beneficial for treating bloating, gas, intestinal worm, and feeling of abdominal lumps.

  • Jimikand (Elephant Foot Yam) – Amorphophallus Campanulatus
  • Yavakshara – Barley (Hordeum Vulgare) Kshar
  • Guda — Jaggery

  • Non-bleeding piles (hemorrhoid) – main indication

  • Loss of appetite

The Dosage —

  • Children (Above 10 years) — ½ to 2 tablets (250 mg to 1 gram)

Kankayan Vati Side effects

Kankayan Vati can cause following side effects:

Contraindication

Kankayan Vati is not suitable in the following health concerns:

  • Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) – Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease

Pregnancy & Lactation

Kankayan Vati contains Semecarpus Anacardium. It is not safe for pregnant women.
