Key Ingredients of Punarnavasava

Punarnavasava contains a powerful combination of herbs that improve digestion, reduce inflammation, and promote fluid balance.

Digestive & Metabolic Support

Digestive & Metabolic Support

First, the formulation includes Trikatu — Black Pepper, Long Pepper, and Dry Ginger. These herbs stimulate digestion and improve the absorption of other ingredients.

In addition, Triphala (Amalaki, Haritaki, Bibhitaki) gently detoxifies the gut and supports regular bowel movement.

Furthermore, Katuki (Picrorhiza kurroa) traditionally supports healthy liver function and bile flow.

Anti-Inflammatory & Anti-Swelling Herbs

Most importantly, Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa) acts as the chief ingredient and helps reduce fluid retention and tissue swelling.

Similarly, Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) supports immunity and reduces inflammatory responses.

Along with these, Daruharidra (Berberis aristata) and Nimba (Azadirachta indica) help cleanse the blood and balance Pitta and Kapha.

Urinary & Kidney Support

Additionally, Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) supports urinary health and promotes healthy fluid elimination.

At the same time, Eranda Mula (Ricinus communis root) helps regulate Vata and supports proper channel function.

Respiratory & Systemic Support

Besides abdominal and urinary benefits, the formulation also contains Vasa (Adhatoda vasica) and Brihati–Kantakari (Brihati Dwaya). These herbs help balance Kapha and support respiratory as well as systemic inflammatory conditions.

Fermentation & Base Ingredients

Finally, ingredients like Dhataki flowers, raisins (Draksha), sugarcane sugar (Sita), honey (Makshika), and water (Jala) enable natural fermentation. As a result, the body absorbs the formulation more efficiently.
