Chandramrit Rasa is a classical Ayurvedic herbo-mineral formulation attributed to Acharya Chandranatha. Traditionally, it is used to help manage Kasa (cough), breathing difficulties, bronchitis, asthma, and related respiratory concerns. Moreover, this formulation is valued not only for supporting the respiratory system but also for promoting digestive strength and overall vitality. In addition, it plays an important role in balancing the three doshas — Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.

Ayurvedic Action (Dosha Effect)
From an Ayurvedic perspective, Chandramrit Rasa primarily helps to pacify Kapha and Vata doshas. Because many of its ingredients are warming, sharp, and light in nature, they effectively reduce Kapha accumulation in the lungs and respiratory passages. As a result, the formulation helps relieve cough, mucus congestion, and breathlessness.
At the same time, the formulation supports Vata regulation, especially in conditions involving dry cough, weakness, and irregular digestion. Meanwhile, ingredients such as Triphala and Dhanyaka help to gently balance Pitta, particularly when burning sensations, thirst, or fever are present. Therefore, although it mainly targets Kapha-Vata disorders, it can also support overall tridoshic balance when used appropriately.
