Patrangasava

Patrangasava is widely used for the treatment of gynecological problems such as menorrhagia (heavy bleeding at menstruation) and amenorrhea (absence of menstruation). And is helpful in reducing the symptoms of leucorrhea such as itching and burning sensation in the vagina. It is used as a uterine tonic (used for female reproductive health) due to which it is helpful in the treatment of gynecological problems.

पत्रांगं खदिरं वासा शाल्मलीकुसुमं बला |
भल्लातकं सारिबे द्वे जपाकुसुममुत्पलं ||
आम्रास्थिदार्वी भूनिंबमाफेनफलजीरकं |
लौहं रसांजनं बिल्वं केशराजं त्वचं तथा ||
कुंकुमं देवकुसुमं प्रत्येकं पलसम्मितं |
सर्वं संचूर्णितं कृत्वा द्राक्षायाः पलविंशतिं ||
धातकीं षोडशपलां जलद्रोणद्वये क्षिपेत् |
शर्करायास्तुलां दत्वा क्षौद्रस्यार्धतुलां तथा ||
एकीकृत्य क्षिपेद् भांडे निद्ध्यान्मासमात्रकं |
हंत्युग्रं प्रदरं श्वेतमरुणं च सवेदनं ||
ज्वरं पाण्डुं तथा शोफं मन्दाग्नित्वमरोचकं ||

patrāṁgaṁ khadiraṁ vāsā śālmalīkusumaṁ balā |
bhallātakaṁ sāribe dve japākusumamutpalaṁ ||
āmrāsthidārvī bhūniṁbamāphenaphalajīrakaṁ |
lauhaṁ rasāṁjanaṁ bilvaṁ keśarājaṁ tvacaṁ tathā ||
kuṁkumaṁ devakusumaṁ pratyekaṁ palasammitaṁ |
sarvaṁ saṁcūrṇitaṁ kr̥tvā drākṣāyāḥ palaviṁśatiṁ ||
dhātakīṁ ṣoḍaśapalāṁ jaladroṇadvaye kṣipet |
śarkarāyāstulāṁ datvā kṣaudrasyārdhatulāṁ tathā ||
ekīkr̥tya kṣiped bhāṁḍe niddhyānmāsamātrakaṁ |
haṁtyugraṁ pradaraṁ śvetamaruṇaṁ ca savedanaṁ ||
jvaraṁ pāṇḍuṁ tathā śophaṁ mandāgnitvamarocakaṁ ||
